19 earthquakes were recorded in Turkey for 13 hours

Over 19 earthquakes with a magnitude up to 3.3 occurred starting from 1:10am until 1:15pm.

According to Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute, today, March 31, 19 earthquakes were recorded in the Mediterranean during 13 hours.

Over 19 earthquakes with a magnitude up to 3.3 occurred starting from 1:10am until 1:15pm.

The strongest quake with magnitude of 3,3 was recorded near the coast of the Mediterranean close to the city Kutahya, while as the weakest quake with magnitude of only 1.4 occured in Pinarbasi district of Kayseri Province.

There were also several earthquakes nearby Mediterranean coast of Antalya. The magnitude of the strongest tremor was 3.3, followed by 2.1 and 2.3.

Any news about the devastation and affected were not reported! The earthquakes often induce panic among the population of Turkey in the off-season but usually they are mild and do not cause death and destruction.
