According to the president, currently about 6 million homes in 179 districts in 48 provinces should be demolished and then rebuilt in the framework of “urban transformation”.

As the President said, the Government increased the plan for the construction of housing until 2023 from 500 000 to 1.2 million units. He also raised the issue of the construction of bicycle paths in Istanbul where “their number is practically zero.” He asked to pay attention to Konya, where the number of cycle paths as cyclists is increasing with a record speed.
