1500 investors from 59 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Australia and Canada, arrived in Turkey to attend the investment property exhibition «Cityscape Turkey».
The representative of «Cityscape Turkey» in Turkey and Managing Director «ISTExpo» Ismail Sezen said that this exhibition, which was held in Istanbul for the first time this year, was previously held in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Jeddah, Kuwait and Seoul. Sezen noted that with the adoption of the law of reciprocity, which allow foreign nationals to buy real estate, offices and commercial real estate in Turkey, foreign investors began to buy residential property and real estate in different cities, especially Istanbul and Antalya.
Sezen also said that Turkey attracts individual and corporate investors, in particular, from the Persian Gulf and the Middle East, and that the motive for these investments is generally “appealing investment opportunities” and “peaceful opportunities for outdoor activities.”
Director of «Cityscape Group» Wouter Molman added: “Pre-registration in Turkey was much higher than in countries such as Kuwait and Qatar, when we organized this exhibition the first time there.”
