Then, we would like to present parts of this statement which were written by Boris Kravchenko and Kani Beko:
The violence and economic sanctions -it is not the solution
“We watch around the situation in Syria and what feedback was in the international community. The Syrian conflict drew down the Russian-Turkish relations, current conditions cause the anxiety and excitement.
In this situation, on behalf of the Russian and Turkish trade unions’ confederations we would like to make a important statement.
On behalf of the Turkish and Russian workers, we declare that we appeal for a peaceful resolution for an international conflict and we don’t support violence and economic sanctions. We do not want people from both countries get to close quarters. Other way round, we want humanity to be united against terrorism.
The War is a death and loss.
Politicians of two countries should be careful to avoid policies that could turn back the Cold War. Moreover, they need to improve neighborly relations.
“We know that when the political, economic and social relations go bad, the threat of war between the two countries first of all it affects ordinary working families. This tensions offer up only death and deprivation.
At the present time, as over the years, the workers’ movement appeals for a peace, brotherhood and against the war, respects Russia, Turkey and the international community … ”
