The Nobel Prize is awarded to Turkish scientist


The Nobel Prize in Chemistry, is awarded to Turkish scientist Aziz Sanjar, Swedish scientist Thomas Lindahl and American scientist Paul Modric. These scholars are awarded the prize for their important research in the field of DNA and cancer. Aziz Sanjar is graduated from the Medical Faculty in Istanbul University, went to the United States, where he became one of the three Turks who were excepted by the American National Academy of Sciences. Sanjar worked at the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of North Carolina, and has written over 300 scientific papers, which have more than 12 thousand links, that means that this papers are great achievements in scientific research.
