Tomorrow in Turkey the clocks will be turned back

On 8th of November in Turkey the clocks will be turned back.

The clocks’ setting back was postponed until 8th of November due to the general parliamentary elections which were held on 1st of November.

At night from Saturday till Sunday from 24:00 to 4:00 a.m., clocks will be set back one hour according to the winter time.

The clocks’ turning to the winter time was postponed until 8th of November in connection with the general parliamentary elections which were held on 1st of November. The proposal about changing the date for this event previously was sent to the Prime Minister by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Ali Ryza Alaboyun.

The summer time which would be completed by 25th of October, this year, will be finished on 8th of November. This day, the clocks will be turned back from 04:00 to 3:00 a.m.

According to the Ministry’s decision, in order to save energy and the effective using of sunlight on 29th of March at 3:00 a.m. the clocks were turned ahead.
