The special services managed to identify a 33-year Ilhami Bali due to the information obtained during the activity against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (IS) at the border with Syria, Gaziantep.
The Turkish special services found out that the paymaster of the major terrorist attacks in the country, including the terrorist attack in Ankara on October, was the leader of a terrorist group IS in Turkey, 33-year-old Ilhami Bali, and he is on the wanted list, reported on Friday by the newspaper Hurriyet, referring a law enforcement.
On 10th of October in Ankara there was the biggest terrorist attack in all Turkish history. As a result, two suicide bombers killed 103 participants of a peaceful meeting, more than 500 participants asked for a medical help. According to the prosecutor’s office in the capital, the attack was organized by the “group alignment in Gaziantep”, which had planned to commit terrorist acts in all Turkey by the instrumentality of IS.
Turkish authorities place 3 million Turkish liras (about 1 million dollars) the bounty for information which will help to pick up the right trail and detain Bali, also known by the nickname Ebubekir.

He took a part in the murder and kidnapping of Turkish soldiers on the border with Syria. The total number of victims after these attacks is more than 140 people.
According to the newspaper, first time the Turkish secret services paid the attention to Bali in 2002 due to his involvement in the terrorist group “Al-Qaeda”, those years he was serving in a prison. In 2012, he went to Syria and joined the terrorist group “Al-Nusra Dzhebhat” and then to the IS. Turkish police kept under the surveillance Bali until January 2014 and wiretapped the phone, and then got off the trail.
