Turkey has started direct goods deliveries to the Crimea

By the reason of the resumption of a regular ferry service between Sevastopol and Turkey, on 1st till 19 th of October 2015 in the marine checkpoints “Sevastopol” and “Yevpatoriya” 407 tons of products came from Turkey, were delivered 385 tons of fresh fruit and 22 tons of dried fruit. The ferry line is organized to import building materials, fruits and vegetables and consumer goods to Crimea. On October, the official delegation from Crimea consisting of 29 businessmen “of the industrial sector” visited the Turkish city Kayseri. Turkish businessmen are ready to implement 21 investment project on the peninsula, including to build five-star hotel in Simferopol and establish a regular ferry service between the Republic of Crimea and Turkey. Turkey became the firar foreign country from which the goods are delivered directly to the Crimea without transit across other Russian regions.
