“Around-the-clock curfew operates in Sirnak town and in seven districts in the southeast,” – the Minister said, during his speech in the Turkish Interior Ministry.

He said that about 200 thousand policemen provide protection of public order during popular celebration among Kurdish people – Novruz, celebrated on March 20-21.

“The authorities allowed the event on the occasion of Novruz in 18 provinces”, – the minister added.
