Turkey as the sixth largest exporter of textile products in the world, in 2014 exports from Turkey amounted to 4% of the total volume in the world. The list is headed by China – 41%, than by India – 5.4%, Italy – 5.3%, and Germany – 5%.
According to the information that was released by the Turkish Exporters Assembly, in 2014, Turkey’s exports increased about 4%, reached 157.6 billion dollars, this is a record in the history of the republic. Turkey is one of the three countries, which has a positive trade balance in this sector.
The trade surplus in the textile sector of China totaled 264.6 billion dollars, than India – about 33.7 billion, and Turkey – about 16 billion. dollars, then the United States, Japan, Britain and Germany.
The most important directions of export are textiles, chemicals, but also car’s sales that have an income about 22.3 billion dollars.
