Turkey plans to subsidize charter flights in the winter

President of the Association of Hoteliers and tourist investors in the Mediterranean region Yusuf Hadzhisuleyman offered to prolong the subsidy program for charter flights from Russia in the winter.

In Turkey there are the fuel subsidy, which covers 13 countries, including Russia. The primary focus of the program is on that Turkey pays to tour operators for each charter flight with tourists about 6 000 dollars.

Mr. Hadzhisuleyman noticed that a lot of Russians previously chose Egypt to celebrate the New Year and after the ban on flights to this country, the Russians look for other trip. Yusuf Hadzhisuleyman supposes that subsidizing flights will help tour operators to create exciting and cheap travel offers which could attract some Russian tourists.
