For last four days, several Turkish web sites were hacked. According to the newspaper Hürriyet, the main suspects in the attacks have been Russian hackers.
Among the web sites, which were a target of hackers from 14th of December, there are sites of government agencies with the extension «.tr». Hacker attacks were cause of a serious suspend of official processes, also financial losses for private commercial companies.
Experts in the field of information technology informed that the system that provides security of sites’ domain Computer Center Middle East Technical University (METU) was hacked. They also announced that several other network servers and domain names also were hacked.
It’s important to know that Turkish IT-specialists closed the access to DNS from abroad, and then communication channels have been re-opened. However, about 400 thousand sites of state agency and private companies with the extension «.tr» have been denied access from other countries.
According to experts, it was impossible to resist these kinds of cyber attacks and find a solution to this problem.
“The scale of hacking and the route lets understand that it was hacked on the part of Russia, although at the present time, the evidence is absent,” – is written in the newspaper.
