Turkey won’t introduce a visa regime with Russia

Citizens of Russia can still visit Turkey in the framework of visa-free regime and stay in the country up to 60 days without applying for a visa

Russian citizens still can visit Turkey without visa.
On the web site of the  Turkish Embassy in Moscow, on 11.01.2016 were written:
“Citizens of Russia can still visit Turkey in the framework of visa-free regime (tourism, business trip) and stay in the country up to 60 days without applying for a visa. Russian citizens who have service and special passports are allowed to stay in the country if the purpose of trip is  tourism up to 60 days, who have diplomatic passports – up to 90 days. “
“Turkey believes that Russian people are friendly and would like to continue the good relations. Turkey isn’t going to make decisions that could affect the Russian people. So, Turkey won’t introduce visa regime, “- the Turkish Embassy said to “Interfax”. “Turkey, in spite of everything, continues relating to Russian citizens according to traditional hospitality and human respect”, – noted in the diplomatic mission.
