Turkish Airlines has canceled 246 flights due to snowfall

Turkish Airlines, the biggest air company of Turkey, announced the cancellation of 246 domestic and international flights from the airport in because of the expected heavy snowfall. It was reported on the official website of the airline.

Also Turkish Airlines reported the cancellation of international flights such as in Baku, Tbilisi, London, Berlin, Vienna and other cities.

“Some of our regular flights to the Ataturk airports and the Sabiha Gokcen Airport have been canceled due to heavy snow forecast in Istanbul. We ask our passengers for getting updated information on their flights to visit our website or contact our call center, “- said by Turkish Airlines in a statement on Sunday.

As the company clarified the flights have been canceled that fly through the Ataturk Airport (located on the European side of Istanbul) and the Sabiha Gokcen airport (located on the Asian side of the city).
